Terms:
- Due to changing material costs and other variables over which we have no control, we reserve the right to alter our prices and details without notice.
- Our custom gun making terms are 50% deposit with order, and the balance on completion.
- Your completed rifle or revolver should be ready for delivery approximately 12 months from the date of order, depending on workload.
- General gunsmithing terms are full payment on delivery of your repaired firearm. If specific parts not usually carried in stock are needed, a deposit of the price of those parts will be required.
- General repairs turn around time is dependent on work load at the time the job is taken in. Delivery times can vary, but we do promise a serious effort to get things done within a reasonable time-frame. With repairs, we try to work on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. If we need to wait for parts for your gun, your job will be put aside and the next one is worked on, and so on, until your parts arrive. Work on your repair will then resume and your job completed.
(All deposits are considered as a contractual agreement and are non-refundable).
Notes:
- The rifle actions we recommend are the Ruger No.1, the Mauser 98, the Brno ZKK 600 series, the controlled feed Winchester model 70, the earlier two lug Sako’s and, with some modifications, the Remington 700.
- Preferred revolvers are the Ruger Single Actions.
- The prices of the custom services listed, are based on the customer’s firearm or action being supplied to us in sound condition to begin with. If initial repairs to the supplied components are both necessary and viable, these repairs will be charged accordingly and added to the total cost of the project.
- Please do not just expect us to work on firearms or actions already modified by other gunsmiths. As a general rule, we will not use any firearm or action that shows evidence of un-skilled or un-safe modification, and we reserve the right to refuse these and any other firearms or parts we consider unsuitable.
- We assume no responsibility for the use of handloaded ammunition in our rifles or revolvers. Any reloading data provided or recommended is intended as information only.
- While we are serious about our customer’s satisfaction, and will take reasonable measures to address any mechanical or cosmetic difficulties with the goods or services provided, no warranty of any kind, expressed or implied, is made. The buyer and all future users assume all risk and liability resulting from the use of these goods and services.
- We are a one gunmaker/gunsmith workshop, dedicated to producing top quality gun work.
- If you are happy with our services, tell somebody. If you are unhappy, please tell us first.
